Scaling Self-Paced Learning through the Buland Bol Training Chatbot
Project Overview
Buland Bol is Video Volunteer’s flagship PAN India program that aims to train the participants in digital changemaking. Because of a huge demand but limited capacity to train due to resource and technology constraints, some people were not able to undertake the training despite their interest. The Buland Bol chatbot delivers the same training content in a structured, self-paced format. Ensures flexibility for learners who cannot commit to fixed training sessions due to work constraints and helps work with the human resource/ technology. Users can access tutorial videos, attempt quizzes, track their progress, and ask queries within the chatbot. Aims to eliminate barriers of scheduled Zoom training limited to only 100 participants at a time, enabling wider participation.
Engagement Structure
2 Consultants: Product Manager and Product Analyst Collaboration with the Video Volunteers program team, chatbot developers (Glific), and the VV leadership. Involved in conversation design in 3 languages (hindi, english, roman hindi), chatbot design, user flow development, testing, and monitoring engagement metrics.
